Rinse the reservoir and the tip under the tap after each use, then leave them to air dry. The body of the device cleans with a damp cloth.

Write to usThe Securidou Nasal Aspirator can be used from birth. It includes 3 silicone tips in different sizes: small (0-6 months), medium (6-18 months), large (18 months-3 years). Suction level 1 (67 kPa) is specially calibrated for newborns' delicate nostrils.
Power is capped at 75 kPa at the maximum level, a force calibrated to respect the nasal lining and minimise the risk of irritation. The soft food-grade silicone tips fit the shape of the nostril. The anti-backflow system prevents any mucus from flowing back up. Recommendation: do not exceed 3-4 uses per day.
The nasal aspirator is IPX6 waterproof. The 15 ml reservoir and the tips detach in one click and rinse directly under the tap. They are compatible with steam sterilisers, boiling water (5 minutes) or the top rack of the dishwasher. The body of the device cleans with a damp cloth.
The 600 mAh lithium battery provides between 70 and 130 minutes of continuous use: that is several weeks of normal use (2-3 sessions of a few seconds per day). The LCD screen shows the battery level in real time. Recharges via the included USB cable.

Yes: the nasal aspirator complements nose washing; it does not replace it. France's national health insurance, Assurance Maladie (ameli.fr), recommends clearing an infant's nose with saline solution as soon as it is congested, before feeds and before bedtime, 4 to 6 times a day if needed. The saline thins the secretions; the electric nasal aspirator then suctions out the loosened mucus. Always keep your baby's head turned to one side. The Securidou Nasal Aspirator is not a medical device and does not replace the advice of a healthcare professional.
